Elephant Rock is a natural sandstone formation that has been eroded over millions of years by rain, wind and sand to take on the shape of an elephant.

Elephant Rock is open daily from 16:00 to 23:40 with extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays from 16:00 to 00:40. As dusk descends, Elephant Rock is illuminated while music plays gently in the background for a magical experience.
Elephant Rock is a 20-minute drive northeast of Old Town. You can drive yourself to the site via Highway 70, where you’ll find free parking. A wooden path leads from the car park through the entrance to Elephant Rock. As Elephant Rock is an AlUla icon, many group tours or packages include it as a stop on their itineraries.
You can get burgers and shakes at SALT. Shisha is also available. Visitors are encouraged to find a seat near a firepit and enjoy the changing colours of Elephant Rock as the sun sets.
